It’s now been half a century since these brilliant photos of our city were taken and a lot has changed since – including the fashion.
From outfits to hairstyles and more, we’ve revisited the archives to find some snaps of days gone by in Liverpool. Taken on the streets of Liverpool these images capture what was in style and the fashion sense of people as they went about their day to day lives.
Taken between 1980 and 1989, these are bound to stir some memories. And you may spot a familiar face.
In some cases these styles have made their way back into fashion
while others remain a memory.
