The identity of Johnny Depp’s new flame, who sports a fiery red mane, has been uncovered. She happens to be a French teacher who is assisting the 59-year-old actor in perfecting his language skills for an upcoming movie. Speculations arose when the two were spotted together in Italy over the weekend, but TMZ clarified that their relationship is strictly professional and platonic. Depp and his language tutor were seen again on Monday arriving at Gardone Riveria for a show featuring iconic guitar virtuoso Jeff Beck.
According to TMZ’s recent report, the unknown red-haired lady seen around Johnny Depp is actually his French teacher. Depp was spotted wearing a casual grey T-shirt while arriving at Gardone Riviera with Jeff Beck for a performance at the Vittoriale.
Sources from the media outlet revealed that a red-haired woman accompanied Johnny Depp to the Umbria Jazz Festival. Fans speculated that she was Depp’s new girlfriend, but the sources explained that she is actually helping him improve his French language skills for his upcoming film Jeanne du Barry. In the movie, Depp plays King Louis XV, and the story revolves around his final mistress who was a seamstress’ daughter in the 18th century. This film marks Depp’s return to the big screen after three years. On Monday, he wore a relaxed outfit consisting of a grey T-shirt, beige cargo trousers, and a black-and-white polka dot bandana. As usual, he accessorized with his signature collection of layered necklaces and stacked bracelets and wristbands.
The musician looked prepared for his gig, proudly displaying his striking arm tattoos while inspecting the sound equipment. He rocked long highlighted locks and bright green Keds to complete his look. In another photo, he sported a messy ponytail and an oversized dark jacket. Recently, he announced a collaboration with fellow artist Jeff Beck on a 13-track album titled “18,” which features covers of iconic artists like the Beach Boys, Marvin Gaye, and John Lennon, as well as alternative rockers like Killing Joke and The Velvet Underground. Johnny expressed his excitement about working with Jeff, whose music he grew up listening to, and the two even used an illustration of themselves as 18-year-olds for the album cover to honor the nostalgia and youthful spirit that inspired the project.
In a recent development, Johnny Depp has shared that he has collaborated with musician Jeff Beck to create a 13-track music compilation. This comes after Depp’s successful defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife Amber Heard. The actor expressed his excitement to work with the “true great” and called him his brother. The duo first met in 2016 and bonded over their interest in guitars and cars while also sharing a good laugh. Beck was impressed by Depp’s musical talent and suggested recording songs together. The album titled ’18’ will be available digitally and on CD from July 15, followed by a vinyl edition on September 30.
The collaboration between Jeff and Johnny is a dream come true for the latter, who grew up listening to Jeff’s music. Depp can definitely enjoy the present as the judge has dismissed all of Heard’s requests to have her verdict thrown out and the case retried. Representing Heard, the lawyers filed a motion claiming that there was no evidence supporting the defamation verdict against Depp and alleging that a juror was not properly vetted. However, Judge Penny Azcarate denied all of Heard’s post-trial requests on Wednesday. In the June verdict, both celebrities were found guilty of defamation, but Depp was awarded $10.35million in damages while Heard was awarded just $2million, leaving her owing Depp a significant amount of $8.35million.
Lawyers acting on behalf of Amber Heard, who was previously married to Johnny Depp from 2015 until 2017, have submitted a motion arguing that the decision that she had defamed Depp was not justified by the evidence. This submission was made earlier this month. The two had gotten together in 2014.
