Katy Perry teases Nicole Kidman about her AMC ad at Paris Fashion Week
Katy Perry made a playful jab to Nicole Kidman after the two attended the Balenciaga Paris Fashion Week show together.
On Thursday, the former American Idol judge shared an Instagram snapshot of her attending the Balenciaga show during Paris Fashion Week, and by her side was Aussie movie star Nicole Kidman.
In the photo, the two grinned while wearing matching sunglasses. Perry rocked a revealing fur coat, ripped tights, and a tight bubble ponytail, while Kidman stunned in a shimmery black gown.
“as you can see, @nicolekidman loved my rendition of her iconic AMC movie intro,” Perry slyly captioned the post.
Kidman’s AMC ad started showing before films at AMC movie theaters in 2021, and has since spawned a plethora of memes and parodies.
Meanwhile, when Perry arrived at the Balenciaga show, she showed off her toned abs by wearing the open coat.
The Firework singer first raised Ozempic rumors when she posted a teaser of her upcoming single, Woman’s World.
In the clip, Perry wore a white crochet bikini and tossed her signature black hair in the wind while a snippet of the song played.
Fans then quickly took to the comments to point out the singer’s apparent weight loss, suggesting that a GLP-1 was at play.
“Too skinny Katy! Stop with the Ozempic. You are a talented lady, you don’t need to be so skinny,” one user wrote.
“Another Ozempic addicted woman,” chimed in another.
“Is this an ad for Ozempic?” commented a third.
However, an inside source insisted to The Daily Mail that Perry’s slim figure is not the result of medication. Instead, the source claims that Perry started the diet of her fiancé, Orlando Bloom, to achieve the weight loss.
“Recently she has been way more disciplined and has chosen to follow Orlando’s diet. She has been working out more because she wants to do some shows to support her upcoming album, so now is the time to look great,” they said.
“Orlando has been her right-hand man and has helped her out. They eat the same and work out the same. She has cut out tons of processed food and doesn’t drink that much. She has been looking incredible because she is sticking to the new routine,” they added.
