The race featured record times for 4th through 8th places, and Lyles set a personal best to secure the victory.
After the race, Lyles expressed his excitement in a BBC interview, saying, “I hope you guys like Noah, because I got a lot more coming!” He is set to compete in the 200m heats tomorrow.
