Diddy has been stripped of another honor in the wake of his continuing legal troubles and the growing backlash against him.

Sean “Diddy” Combs has been stripped of another honor amid allegations of domestic abuse and sexual assault that have sullied his legacy.

Last month, surveillance footage emerged that appeared to show Diddy, 54, assaulting then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura at a hotel in 2016, sparking widespread outrage.

Following his poorly received apology video, the Bad Boy mogul has found himself the subject of ire from former fans and celebs alike.

In light of the backlash against him, the City of Miami has decided to stop celebrating Diddy in Magic City.

On June 26, The Miami Beach Commission voted to “revoke the proclamation that declares October 13 ‘Diddy Day’ without discussion,” per The Miami Herald. This decision came weeks after Diddy turned in his key to New York City.

Miami’s Mayor Philip Levine awarded Diddy with the privilege at the Grammy-winner’s REVOLT Music Conference in 2016. Diddy’s Miami holiday was established as “an acknowledgment of his high-profile parties, nightclub appearances, and the music conference Combs launched there with his Revolt TV network,” according to The Guardian.

Diddy, who owned properties in both Miami and Los Angeles saw his homes raided by federal agents back in March amid investigations into alleged sex trafficking. The raids did not result in Diddy’s arrest or charges.

The civil lawsuit filed against the New York native by Cassie a the end of last year, sparked a series of other lawsuits this year, including a sexual assault lawsuit from his former producer Lil Rod.

Another lawsuit was filed by April Lampros, who accused Diddy of drugging and sexually assaulting her over two decades ago.

In her lawsuit, Cassie claimed that Diddy raped and repeatedly abused her during their decade-long relationship, which lasted from 2008 to 2018.

Court documents reveal that Cassie alleged she was abused by Diddy when she was just 19 years old. She signed a contract with his record label in 2005 when Diddy was 37.

Cassie accused him of luring her into an “an ostentatious, fast-paced and drug-fuelled lifestyle” that eventually evolved into a romantic relationship.

The lawsuit was settled quickly. One day after Cassie filed, they reached an agreement outside of court.

After the graphic hotel footage went public, Cassie said in a statement: “Thank you for all of the love and support from my family, friends, strangers, and those I have yet to meet,” the statement reads. “The outpouring of love has created a place for my younger self to settle and feel safe now, but this is only the beginning.”
